The line from her runs to David.<\/p>\n The Gemara records what a person is asked when brought before the heavenly court, and the list is not what anyone expects. Among the questions: \u05e6\u05b4\u05e4\u05b4\u05bc\u05d9\u05ea \u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05e9\u05c1\u05d5\u05bc\u05e2\u05b8\u05d4, did you watch for the redemption (Shabbat 31a).<\/p>\n That is the question put to something inside an egg, waiting for the break. Jewish life read this way is an incubation, and what the tradition calls the birth pangs of redemption is the shell giving.<\/p>\n Fill a shell with oil and light it, and the arrangement is the shape of protection at the scale of one table. The shell is the wing. The oil is the warmth.
