Blessed is everything. Listen to what you said. \u05d4\u05b7\u05db\u05b9\u05bc\u05dc is everything. \u05d4\u05b7\u05e7\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc is the voice. In the ear they are one word.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the page they split. \u05d4\u05db\u05dc is written with a kaf and \u05d4\u05e7\u05d5\u05dc with a kuf. The identity lives only in a mouth and an ear, which is where the work of the third book of <em>Kol Tehom<\/em> gets done.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The voice comes first<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"rtl\" lang=\"he\">\u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc \u05db\u05b0\u05bc\u05d4\u05b4\u05e0\u05b8\u05bc\u05d1\u05b0\u05d0\u05b4\u05d9 \u05d5\u05b0\u05d4\u05b4\u05e0\u05b5\u05bc\u05d4 \u05e8\u05b7\u05e2\u05b7\u05e9\u05c1 \u05d5\u05b7\u05ea\u05b4\u05bc\u05e7\u05b0\u05e8\u05b0\u05d1\u05d5\u05bc \u05e2\u05b2\u05e6\u05b8\u05de\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea \u05e2\u05b6\u05e6\u05b6\u05dd \u05d0\u05b6\u05dc \u05e2\u05b7\u05e6\u05b0\u05de\u05d5\u05b9<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>There was a sound as I prophesied, and behold a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. Yechezkel 37:7<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before sinew, before flesh, before the breath arrives from the four winds, there is a noise in a valley of dry bones. No hand pushes the pieces together. A sound is made, and they move toward each other.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"rtl\" lang=\"he\">\u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc \u05d3\u05b0\u05bc\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d0\u05b7\u05ea\u05b6\u05bc\u05dd \u05e9\u05b9\u05c1\u05de\u05b0\u05e2\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d5\u05bc\u05ea\u05b0\u05de\u05d5\u05bc\u05e0\u05b8\u05d4 \u05d0\u05b5\u05d9\u05e0\u05b0\u05db\u05b6\u05dd \u05e8\u05b9\u05d0\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d6\u05d5\u05bc\u05dc\u05b8\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>You heard the sound of words, and you saw no form, only a voice. Devarim 4:12<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Sinai everything was present, and the report says the only thing in the frame was a voice.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A voice nobody hears<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"rtl\" lang=\"he\">\u05d0\u05b5\u05d9\u05df \u05d0\u05b9\u05de\u05b6\u05e8 \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b5\u05d9\u05df \u05d3\u05b0\u05bc\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d1\u05b0\u05bc\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9 \u05e0\u05b4\u05e9\u05b0\u05c1\u05de\u05b8\u05e2 \u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05dd \u05d1\u05b0\u05bc\u05db\u05b8\u05dc \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b8\u05e8\u05b6\u05e5 \u05d9\u05b8\u05e6\u05b8\u05d0 \u05e7\u05b7\u05d5\u05b8\u05bc\u05dd<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>There is no speech and there are no words, their voice is not heard; their line has gone out through all the earth. Tehillim 19:4\u20135<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The heavens tell the glory of God without a word, and their line runs to the end of the world. A voice everywhere and heard nowhere is the voice you are standing inside right now.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Blessing the whole inventory<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"rtl\" lang=\"he\">\u05d7\u05b7\u05d9\u05b8\u05bc\u05d1 \u05d0\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05dd \u05dc\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8\u05b5\u05da\u05b0 \u05e2\u05b7\u05dc \u05d4\u05b8\u05e8\u05b8\u05e2\u05b8\u05d4 \u05db\u05b0\u05bc\u05e9\u05b5\u05c1\u05dd \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05d4\u05d5\u05bc\u05d0 \u05de\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05e8\u05b5\u05da\u05b0 \u05e2\u05b7\u05dc \u05d4\u05b7\u05d8\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05d1\u05b8\u05d4<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A person is obligated to bless on the bad exactly as he blesses on the good. Mishnah Berachot 9:5<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same Gemara gives a blessing over a sage of Israel and another over a sage of the nations, said by the same person on the same road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"rtl\" lang=\"he\">\u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05d7\u05b8\u05dc\u05b7\u05e7 \u05de\u05b5\u05d7\u05b8\u05db\u05b0\u05de\u05b8\u05ea\u05d5\u05b9 \u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05e8\u05b5\u05d0\u05b8\u05d9\u05d5 \u00b7 \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05e0\u05b8\u05bc\u05ea\u05b7\u05df \u05de\u05b5\u05d7\u05b8\u05db\u05b0\u05de\u05b8\u05ea\u05d5\u05b9 \u05dc\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05e9\u05b8\u05c2\u05e8 \u05d5\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05dd<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Who apportioned of His wisdom to those who fear Him. Who gave of His wisdom to flesh and blood. Berachot 58a<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wisdom is His in both, and both get a bracha. If everything is His voice, the trees, the animals, the sciences and the other languages are the same utterance in registers we do not use.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Genesis with God<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gemara counts nine hundred and seventy-four generations that were meant to be created before the world, and were folded away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"rtl\" lang=\"he\">\u05d0\u05b5\u05dc\u05bc\u05d5\u05bc \u05ea\u05b0\u05bc\u05e9\u05b7\u05c1\u05e2 \u05de\u05b5\u05d0\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea \u05d5\u05b0\u05e9\u05b4\u05c1\u05d1\u05b0\u05e2\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd \u05d5\u05b0\u05d0\u05b7\u05e8\u05b0\u05d1\u05b7\u05bc\u05e2 \u05d3\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05e8\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05e7\u05bc\u05d5\u05bc\u05de\u05b0\u05bc\u05d8\u05d5\u05bc \u05dc\u05b0\u05d4\u05b4\u05d9\u05d1\u05b8\u05bc\u05e8\u05b0\u05d0\u05d5\u05b9\u05ea \u05e7\u05d5\u05b9\u05d3\u05b6\u05dd \u05e9\u05b6\u05c1\u05e0\u05b4\u05bc\u05d1\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05d0 \u05d4\u05b8\u05e2\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b8\u05dd<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>These are the nine hundred and seventy-four generations that were folded away before the world was created. Chagigah 13b<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"zt-hiddush wp-block-paragraph\">The book reads each folded generation as a <em>bereishit<\/em> made together with Hashem, a beginning in which the answer came out another way. That reading is the author&#8217;s own and is marked as his. It leaves you with a job: every blessing said over the bad and the good, every word spoken at the right pause, is a beginning made with the Speaker.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The world was spoken. It has not stopped being spoken.
