Description
Candles poured into real eggshells, with our oils mixed into the wax. Light one on the Shabbat table, set a carton out for a simcha, or give a carton as a gift.
Why an eggshell
The Sages debate an eggshell filled with oil and set over a lamp so the flame lasts longer, and Rabbi Yehuda permits it (Mishnah Shabbat 2:4). The shell that held a beginning now holds the light.
